Justin Waltrip

Role(s): Technical Lead
Bio: Hi everyone, I’m Justin. I deal with a little bit of everything but focus on frontend development and full-stack integration.

Kevin Kim

Role(s): Technical Lead
Bio: Hi! I’m Kevin. I’m generally responsible for the larger architecture, such as this documentation site, integration with external services (JHU SSO, Venmo, Uber/Lyft, etc.), and deployment. I also work on the backend of our website. I really, really, really like green tea.

Kyuhee Jo

Role(s): Technical Lead
Bio: My name is Kyuhee Jo, a senior CS student (oldest!) at the Johns Hopkins University. I’ve been handling mobile frontend development and wireframe mockups. I like cooking and swimming!

Mason Albert

Role(s): Technical Lead
Bio: Hey, I’m Mason. I mainly work on backend development. Among other things, I’m responsible for the event searching and filtering features . In my free time, I enjoy playing ice hockey, as well as chess.

Sara Ren

Role(s): Technical Lead
Bio: Hey everyone! I’m Sara. I’ve been contributing mainly in frontend development and backend testing, and manage a lot of the non-coding work. I hope we’ve made your city exploration somewhat easier :)

Jake Rasmussen

Role(s): iOS Developer, Member
Bio: Hey! My name is Jake Rasmussen, and I am a sophomore. I am working on the iOS development team to help bring Split.it to iPhones. I love working with front-end development, so I am very excited to be on this project!

Steven Simpson

Role(s): Social Media Manager, Member
Bio: Hello! I’m Steven. I come from a strong background in marketing communications and am currently focused on social media management. I have a passion for expressive storytelling, but on the side, I enjoy the outdoors through backpacking and kayaking.
